The planning application for 11 x 100m high turbines at Loch Hill just outside Dalry was refused by councillors this morning.

The vote went 8-6 in favour of rejecting the proposal on landscape and cumulative impact grounds.

Before the Planning Application Committee meeting there was a protest by members of GLARE, Save Loch Urr and TW312.

Well done to all those who attended!
